Lisa Nevot is a seasoned member of the creative arts industry with a career spanning almost four decades and is being recognized as a serious up-and-coming artist to be collected. Lisa’s craving for adventure and freedom in expression drives her passion for art. Her work varies in style and medium making her accessible to multiple clientele tastes and needs. Her mediums include watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, graphite, canvas, and wood. Even painting on glass and brick. Lisa also accepts commissions. Lisa’s unique style is recognizable while often different based on current inspiration and influences. She believes in the power of art to unite and express a world unfolding and new. Art is her regulator. It is the beat of her heart staying slow and steady gently pulsing and deeply soothing. Her art is designed to reflect the abstraction and beauty of our relationship to life’s messiness through fluidity and dedication. She lets each piece become it’s natural self and does not force or try to make her art do anything as she paints from her soul. Lisa’s artwork has won her numerous awards and she has been published through Random House, licensed, auctioned, in galleries and sold online through her own marketing and distribution channels. Her love for the arts has brought her to speak on panels, speak to large audiences, paint live on stage with best selling authors. It has taken her work to Italy to tour for a year. She has been published in multiple magazines and it has led her to teach art history through the artists of the past as well as teaching beginners to bring out their love of creation. When she is not locked up in her studio or spending time in the galleries, Lisa can be found wandering Old Town Fort Collins enjoying the local flavors or taking road trips and doing photography. She lives in Colorado with her old but sweet kitty Candy.
